One of the first initiatives of the “pre-surge” in Afghanistan was the USMC action Cobra’s Anger. This video shows Marines during this operation clearing out the Taliban presence in the “Pakistan Alley” to allow the local Afghans to return to their homes. Scenes include Marines patrolling a road, military construction vehicle moving dirt and Marines detonating explosives.
