The LCS and USCG in Joint Operations

In the first two photos, Petty Officer 2nd Class Richard Goodley, an aviation ordnanceman, signals a MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter to approach the littoral combat ship USS Freedom during a vertical replenishment with the U.S. Coast Guard medium endurance cutter USCGC Campbell. The USS Freedom is conducting counter-illicit trafficking operations and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 4th Fleet area of responsibility.

The third photo shows a MH-60S Sea Hawk from the littoral combat ship USS Freedom conducting a vertical replenishment with the U.S. Coast Guard medium endurance cutter USCGC Campbell.

The final photo shows a rooster tail forming in the wake of the littoral combat ship USS Freedom during high-speed operations in the Caribbean Sea.
