Dawn Blitz

Amphibious assault vehicles transporting Marines from the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines land at Red Beach at Camp Pendleton as helicopters from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 465 fly overhead during exercise Dawn Blitz. The exercise is a series of amphibious operations involving Sailors and Marines to reinvigorate the core competency of amphibious operations and enhance interaction between the Navy and the Marine Corps.
