Counter-Piracy and CTF 151

Members of the U.S. Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement, Detachment 406 and the visit, board, search and seizure team embarked aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto prepare to board and inspect a skiff suspected of participating in recent pirate activity. San Jacinto is part of Combined Task Force 151, a multinational task force established in January 2009 to conduct counter-piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden.
