02/12/2011 – Frankly, we just liked this picture. The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) is seen as it transits the Suez Canal. The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group is deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
This picture recalls our earlier story on ensuring the security of the Suez Canal.
