05/27/2011 This slide show focused upon training to deal with IEDs. The class being pictured was was facilitated by Texas Agribusiness Development Team, Texas Army National Guard, which took place at Forward Operating Base Ghazni. This training is a requirement for counter IED and enhances detection for units.

- In the seventh photo, two Polish Soldiers of the 1st Battery 23rd Brigade Polish Army, Task Force White Eagle, prepare their 152 millimeter Howitzer during a fire mission April 11, at Forward Operating Base Ghazni. The mission supported the 172nd Cavalry Vermont National Guard. The 172nd CAV working with Afghanistan national police requested the support when their combined unit came under enemy fire while conducting operations.
