  • In the first photo members of an Afghan-international security force clear and secure a compound in the Sabari district.
  • The second photo shows an Afghan-international security force providing security at a compound in Khost province’s Sabari district during an operation to capture a Haqqani network militant.
  • The third photo shows an Afghan-international security force preparing to go on a mission targeting a compound in the Sabari district after intelligence sources found militant activity. The security force searched the compound and detained two suspected militants in Khowst province, Afghanistan, Dec. 28, 2009.
  • The fourth photo shows an Afghan-international security force searching a compound in Khost province’s Sabari district during an operation to capture a Haqqani network militant Feb. 1. Eight suspects were detained during the operation.
