07/12/2011: Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17 are highlighted; in the future naval real estate will be used to carry the first stealth aircraft which the USN has deployed which in turn will allow multiple variants of F-18s as well as Prowlers and Growlers to be replaced by a single aircraft.  The new aircraft carriers will have triple the sortie rate, and opens up the possibilities of how to use the carrier decks.  We will have a Forum session soon debating how to use the deck of this important sovereign US real estate in the Fall.
