On January 6th the second wave of Typhoons took to the skies as the trail for Exercise Red Flag began.
Pictured is a Typhoon refuelling via the Voyager’s air-to-air refuelling probe. This was during the first leg of the trail which saw a Voyager and four Typhoons travelling from RAF Lossiemouth and Brize-Norton down to the Azores.
The trail will be ready to move on to Bermuda tomorrow.
