03/13/2015: A UH-1Y Huey, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), takes off from USS Iwo Jima (LPD 7), Jan. 7, 2015, in preparation for a live-fire exercise in the Mediterranean Sea.
The 24th MEU and Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group are seen conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
