09/25/2017: U.S. Marine MV-22B Osprey pilots with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268 successfully completed their deployment with Marine Rotational Force Darwin on Sept. 17, 2017.
This marked several milestones for the aircraft, which included the first trans-Pacific Flight from Marine Corps Base Hawaii to Darwin, Australia and the aircrafts first deployment to the area.
Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron VMM 268 flew to Australia, to begin their deployment six months ago.
This week they flew back to Hawaii.
